Weekly pollen and fungal spore forecast summary

Due to popular demand our forecasts are back. 

Forecast to 7th February 2025:  Pollen: tree pollen at low to moderate risk; Spores: Aspergillus/penicillium types at moderate/high risk.

Grass Pollen Count - Low

 Pollen forecast for grass with a low green pollen count.

Grass pollen season will resume next Spring.

Tree Pollen Count - Moderate

 Pollen forecast for trees with a moderate yellow pollen count.

Hazel pollen at moderate risk on any mild days (+10C). Alder pollen will also be airborne at a low risk, with the main season likely to start from second week of February.

Fungal Spore Levels - High

Pollen forecast for spores with a high orange pollen count.

Aspergillus/penicillium types are likely to rise to moderate/high this week during any dry days. Other types will be low. The risk will be greater in South-west and Midlands and lowest in upland areas of Scotland and the far north of England. 

Weed Pollen Count - Low

Pollen forecast for weeds with a low green pollen count.

Weed pollen season will resume next Spring.
